U12s v Timperley. Again.

Up against our old rivals again - and the A team was the A team this time... Stockport pulled ahead quickly to win the first quarter 1-4, and this woke Timperley up - and a close game unfolded.
Pulling it back in Q2, the match then went a goal apiece until the last quarter, which Stockport went into 2 goals down. Although we pulled it even at one point, Timperley went on to take the game, by just one goal. Overall a close game, and a good game to watch - a good end to the fixtures this season.

Final Score:  Timperley 13  Stockport 12
Quarter scores:  1-4 / 5-2 / 4-2 / 3-4
Scorers :  Danny (5), Ryan (2), Cameron (2), Luke W (1), Matias (1), MATTHEW (1) - Well done Matthew getting your first goal for Stockport.

U14s Cup game vs Cheadle Hulme

After a few postponements, the U14s finally got to play in the Quarter Final of the Centurion Cup over at Cheadle Hulme. The last visit to this ground had ended in a heavy defeat for Stockport, but with a full squad, and raring to go - today was a much closer game.
It was a hard game on a very wet, hilly pitch - but the boys enjoyed getting stuck in, and by the end of the third quarter, it looked as if it could go either way.
With a strong finish in Q4 for Cheadle Hulme though, Stockport didn't quite make it through.  Maybe next year...

Final Score:  Cheadle Hulme 14  Stockport 10
Quarter scores:  2-2 / 4-2 / 2-4 / 5-2

Next fixture - to be advised - may have a last friendly, to be advised this week

The boys were away at Norbury and came away with another win!
Special 'well done's go to Rhys and Luke Mc who both scored for the first time today! Great play boys.

Final Score:  Norbury 8  Stockport 11
Next Fixture:  away v Timperley A
