U12's Away at Heaton Mersey in 1st Round of Onundaga

What a close game, with Stockport running out winners 10-9, against a much improved Heaton Mersey side.  The first quarter was dominated by Stockport, winning every face off, and coming in at the end of Q1 4-0 to the good, and all 4 goals coming on the back of an assist.  That's as good as we have been all season, but Q2 we let ourselves down, improved in Q3, before some excellent defending and keeping in Q4 helped us progress to the next round.  For an U12's game, compliments to both sides as the ball was played in the air for a large part of this game.
Cameron, raring to go on his way to scoring 4

Aaron, breaking free

U12 'v' Sheffield - Away

For our long trip across the Pennines, we were all up early and raring to go.  Q1 0-3 Stockport, Q2 1-3 Stockport, Q3 1-4 Stockport, final 3-1 Sheffield providing us with an 11-5 victory.  All in all a very good day at the office.  The boys started a little slowly, which had an impromptu time out in Q1, got the lads focused and off to a good victory.  We played a much bigger, more physical side, but our better skills certainly shone through.  Good play throughout from our boys, moving the ball well and scoring when necessary.  Ben was excellent in goal for the entire game.
Not like Marley, running away from the girls.

Good change of hands.

Jack, avoiding a check

Luke, coming clear with the ball

Another crushing blow.  Before Cameron turned and scored.

Fast break

Ashley, trying to break free from his defender

Our ball!

Team clear

Ben, looking the part

Bit of ankle biting by William, the balls not there Will.

U14s meet Cheadle at home

The game started off well, but unfortunately didn't carry on that way.  With considerably fewer players than our opposition, we were all out by Q4, which went their way without reply.  Some good defensive play especially in Q1.
Final Score - Stockport 7 : Cheadle 18
Quarter scores - 4-2 / 0-4 / 3-6 / 0-6
Next fixture : at home v Timperley A
