Coldwell Cup with the U14s, Game 1

Down to Welwyn in Herts for our second appearance at the Coldwell Cup. A gorgeous sunny day for the 6 a side tournament, but unfortunately it wasn't our best performance/s, winning none of our 5 games! Maybe next year...
Game 1 was against Portsmouth Pythons with a tiny, but brilliant goalkeeper to get past!
Final score - Stockport 5 : Portsmouth 5

that's one in!

and another!

Careful where you put your head Callulm!

And another one!

Active defending Luca

Coldwell Cup Game 2 v TASIS 1

Probably our worst game of the day v TASIS' first team. Tom was injured and we played a scrappy game... resulting in our worst defeat.
Final score - Stockport 1 : TASIS 7

Pass over to Luca

Get out of our crease!

Tackling the big guy!

Scrappy goal kicked in by Danny

wait for it....

Brace positions in defence!

Coldwell Cup Game 3 v Sheffield

First game back after a long break and we were up against a strong Sheffield side - a close game though and we played much better to only lose by one goal:
Final Score - Stockport 3 : Sheffield 4

Keeping ahead, just

Fighting hard on the face

Elusive ball

Safe with James

Coldwell Cup Game 4 v TASIS 2

A better result this time, but still only a draw - final score Stockport 3 : TASIS 2 3

Keep them fumbling

Coldwell Cup Game 5 v Mellor

Last game of the day vs Mellor, and our highest scoring game of the day (we actually won the second half), unfortunately we did lose this one too, final score 7-11.

got it!

could be a save from James

booting it clear!
